A large SalfordSalford based Secondary school is seeking a full time Teacher of Girls PE required from October 2019 or earlier. Due to a permanent member of staff set to take maternity leave there is now an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful staff team.

  • Full time Teacher of Girls PE required from October 2019 or earlier.

  • Pay in line with the new MPSMPS/UPS £24, 313 - £40, 391.

As the incoming Teacher of Girls PE you can expect to join a supportive department which is popular amongst pupils across Key Stages 3 & 4.The department has seen newly refurbished open plan learning spaces, sports halls and access to state of the art equipment.

The successful practitioner will be responsible for;

  • Successfully managing learning through effective teaching and learning in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Implement a variety of methods and approaches in line with, learning objectives across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Set high expectations for all students to maximise their achievement and potential

Located in the Worsley region of Salford, this mixed comprehensive school has just over 1000 pupils on roll, aged 11-16. The school is easily accessible via the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Trafford. There are also various public transport options available with links across Greater Manchester.
