Teacher of Geography
Full Time role Starting in January period, on a full-time basis.
Start: January 2023

Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the school is situated in a stunning rural location on the Berkshire-Hampshire border with easy access from Basingstoke, Reading, Newbury, and surrounding areas. The school are seeking to recruit a Teacher of Geography. The right candidate will be an outstanding classroom teacher who is passionate about Geography and will deliver innovative and engaging teaching and learning within the department
This role is suitable for ECTs, as well as more experienced teaching staff.
The school are looking for a candidate who:
- Has excellent subject knowledge and strong teaching skills.
- Can build positive relationships with all learners and is committed to raising attainment of all students.
- Will work collaboratively within a team of 3 to contribute to the success of the department.
- Is willing to commit to extracurricular activities that add value to the school and local community.
- Can respond positively and creatively to the changing expectations of the subject.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
