Our client faith school based in Bury, Greater Manchester are in the process of appointing a Teacher of English ahead of September 2018 to cover an adoption leave in the new academic year.

With an upcoming gap within the English department at this Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary school, the successful Teacher of English can expect to join a supportive school community who pride themselves in the development of their pupils and staff.
- Full time Teacher of English role, September 2018 start, based in Bury Greater Manchester.
- Must hold QTS - Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
- Experience teaching the English curriculum through K3-4 is essential; any further experience including GCSE will be advantageous.
- Uphold the school ethos and values.
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS £22917 - £38,633 (per annum) experience dependant*.
The incoming Teacher of English can expect to work in modern facilities, with onsite parking in a school with an abundance of character. English is thoroughly enjoyed by all pupils across the school board.
Your role as Teacher of English will include but not be limited to;
- Lead a full time table delivering the Key stage 3-4 and GCSE English curriculum.
- Plan, prepare and monitor classwork, reporting back to senior leadership team appropriately.
- Positively manage behaviour in accordance to the school behaviour policy.
- Promote a growth mind set amongst pupils with respect to the ethos.
This larger than average, Ofsted rated 'Good with Outstanding features' secondary school based in Bury, with just over 900 pupils on roll, is easily accessible via the M60 and the surrounding areas; Rochdale, Salford and Bolton. The school also has various public transport links for those who do not drive with links throughout Greater Manchester.
