Teacher of Computing- GOOD school- Cheshire
Teaching Personnel are working alongside a large 11-18 secondary school & sixth form in Cheshire to recruit for a Teacher of Computing. This full time position is to cover an upcoming gap within the ICT faculty from January 2018.
This vacancy represents an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Computing to join a reputable school and teach pupils who are passionate about their learning. The school are open to offering the successful Teacher of Computing a fixed-term/permanent contract after the initial supply period (one term).
Overview-
- Two term position starting from January 2019
- Delivery of the Computer Science curriculum to KS3/4
- Experience of teaching Computing to KS5 is also preferred
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917- £38,633)

The role-
The Head teacher of this high achieving school is seeking to appoint a competent and enthusiastic Computing Teacher. This position is to deliver the Key Stage 3 & 4 Computer Science curriculum. The incoming Teacher of Computing will have access to fantastic facilities including two IT suites all equipped with PCs that have the latest software/programmes.

The school enjoys an excellent reputation within the local area and as a result is consistently over-subscribed. There are currently over 1000 pupils on roll with a large percentage of students coming from White British backgrounds. The numbers of pupils considered to be disadvantaged are average in line with national statistics.
It is situated on the outskirts of Macclesfield close to the A523. This offers easy access to the areas of Stockport such as Hazel Grove and Cheadle. It is also only a short drive away from the areas Wilmslow and Buxton.
