Teacher of Citizenship- Manchester
Due to an upcoming gap within the PSHE department, Teaching Personnel have recently been approached by our partner secondary school to recruit for a Teacher of Citizenship. This two-term position is scheduled to start after the October half-term holiday.
The incoming Teacher of Citizenship will join our partner school at an exciting time as they go from strength to strength under a newly appointed Senior Leadership team. Further, this role represents a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher of Citizenship to secure a progressive role with vast career development potential:
Overview-
- Full-time teaching position of Citizenship
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917- £38,633)
- Possibility of a fixed-term/permanent contract after the initial supply period
- School located on the outskirts of Manchester city centre
Information about the school-

Our partner school currently caters for just under 900 pupils. This number is set to increase however over the next academic year due to the growing reputation of the school. At present, the numbers of pupils eligible for pupil premium and those who speak English as an Additional Language are slightly higher than the national average.
It is located on the outskirts of Manchester town centre offering excellent accessibility to East Manchester, Tameside and areas of Stockport via the M60 motorway. There are also direct public transport links (both buses & trains) to the school from Manchester city centre.
