Job description

Our client is seeking to appoint an exceptional Philosophy, Religious Studies and Citizenship teacher with a dynamic and inspirational approach to teaching to work in an academy in Ashford.

The applicant should:

  • Be an excellent practitioner, keen to ensure the highest standards and contribute to the success of the department
  • Have the knowledge and ambition to teach across the full age and ability range
  • Be enthusiastic, resourceful and a good communicator

The academy are well established and have students from the age of 5 through to 18, although this position will be teaching students from KS3 through to KS5.

The school ETHOS is very much to 'treat others how you wish to be treated' and it makes for a very settled atmosphere where students are keen to learn and develop. Although naturally, there will be elements of behaviour management required.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
