Job description
An 'Outstanding' Secondary school looking to appoint a permanent teacher for an immediate or September start date - Kingsbury (£120 - 150 a day)
Brent based school seeking a Fully Qualified Teacher to work on a year contract as minimum on a full-time basis
Interviews to be held from late June 2019
Teachers and Newly Qualified teachers must have relevant teaching qualifications and experience leading and planning lessons.
About the role
A Secondary school for pupils with autism in North West London are looking to hire an experienced teacher on a temporary to permanent basis required as soon as possible.
Teachers will require experience teaching either in primary or secondary education and will need teaching qualifications such as QTS, NQT or PGCE.
This specific role is a full-time position 5 days a week Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
All applicants are expected to differentiate, plan, deliver lessons for children with autism alongside record and access development. Training will be provided but openness to development and learning is essential.
About the School
The School, is a multi-cultural/multi faith Special School with a current roll of 172 (rising to 200 - September 2019) children and young people aged 11 to 19 with Complex Learning Difficulties & Disabilities some of whom may have challenging behaviour. Following a recent restructure of the staffing, the school is seeking to appoint motivated and talented teachers from KS3 to KS5 who have proven experience of working with pupils with SEN.
The school is committed to providing the highest quality provision for all its pupils and places a strong emphasis on developing functional communication and skills for life through an individualized curriculum.
Potential teachers must be confident planning and leading classes, be a great communicator and have an energetic, resilient personality.
Ofsted have rated the school as 'Outstanding' and have a cohesive and supportive leadership team.
Requirements
UK recognised teaching qualifications such as PGCE, QTS, NQT qualifications
Experience teaching and confidence leading curriculum across school
Teachers will be required to plan, deliver lessons for primary aged pupils
Available full-time Monday to Friday 8:00 - 4:00pm
Be committed to a year contract and permanent contract and punctual
