Special Needs Teacher
Are you looking to make a difference within education?
The school -
- SEN school in Bournemouth that provides a safe learning environment for pupils with Autism (ASD) and complex learning needs.
- The school is looking for a focused and skilled Special Needs teacher that has experience of working closely with SEN children and is able to deliver excellent lessons tailored to the students needs.
- You will be responsible for teaching a small class of students with special educational needs
- Use resources to help each student understand and engage in lessons
- Have additional support in the classroom from other support staff
- Plan and deliver lessons tailored to the individual needs of the students
The Candidate -
- The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children with SEN, particularly autism (ASD/ASC) and/or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)
- Experience in PECS, Makaton and/or MAPA training or Team Teach
- Qualified Teacher Status

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
