Primary School Teacher Required

September Opportunities

I am looking to recruit primary school teachers in Scarborough to work provide supply and emergency cover in our client schools. The summer term is the busiest term for supply and short term cover in primary schools in the area!

As a supply teacher you will be required to follow the ethos, aims and principals of the schools you visit and be confident in following the planning that is set for you. Whilst you will be undertaking short term, emergency work, there is also the opportunity to undertake longer term assignments from September.

Successful candidates must have experience of teaching the primary school curriculum and be confident in teaching in our client schools. You be able to successfully differentiate your teaching style to meet the needs of all children within the classroom, and be confident in providing extra assistance for those with additional needs to order to assist further with their development.

Applications are encouraged from Newly Qualified Teachers, and those who have extensive experience of teaching the primary school curriculum.

Desirable attributes; SEN experience, especially Challenging Behaviour. Forest School knowledge and the ability and confidence to teach this. A full, clean driving licence which can open up working opportunities.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
