Do you have experience dealing with challenging behaviour pupils?

Are you looking for experience to enhance your career?

Teaching personnel are looking for an outstanding teacher dealing with predominately KS1 and KS2 aged 4-11 years, with severe emotional, social, mental health and behavioural difficulties.

We are looking for someone to work in one of our schools in Manchester, that cater for students who have been excluded or are in the process of being excluded and require additional support. You must have experience supporting students who can display very challenging behaviour. However, this does not have to be in a school-based environment. Teaching Personnel also recruit candidates who have undertaken youth work, supported young offenders or those at risk of re-offending and those who have worked in secure or medical units. You must have the ability to build a rapport with a non-judgemental attitude and be passionate about improving the lives of young people.

Experience/ Personal Specification Required:

  • PGCE (desirable)
  • Experience working with young people in a teaching environment
  • Team teach or restraint training (we can provide team teach training)
  • Go above and beyond expectations
  • Empathy and patience
