I am working with a Primary School located in Southampton who are seeking a Primary PPA Cover Teacher through Teaching Personnel on a supply basis when the children retrun to school (start date to be confirmed in the coming weeks). 

The school need an experienced teacher to take whole class lessons February 2021 until at least the Summer holidays at least. The role will be on a supply basis with some weeks part time and some weeks full time. You will be required to cover main class teachers when they are on PPA time across KS1 and KS2. As a PPA Teacher you will be required to work in the afternoon on set days when other class teachers and senior leaders are off planning and preparing their lessons for the following weeks. You will need to have sound knowledge of the curriculum and be able to follow teaching plans to pick up where pupils are in learning. On the other days you may be required to cover general sickness and pupil progress meetings. 

This role is on a supply basis through Teaching Personnel and is suitable for any teachers who are not looking for a permanent position in a school. As this role is to cover PPA in school majority of the planning will already be prepared for you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
