Calling for all experienced Support Staff / Teaching Assistants / Midday Supervisors / Learning Support Assistants / Care Workers / Support Workers in Cambridge and the surrounding villages!

A welcoming and friendly specialist educational needs’ school, based on the outskirts of Cambridge, are seeking several engaging and passionate Teaching Assistants who have experience of working with pupils with Autism.

The school caters for pupils at primary age through to sixth form and further education. You should expect to communicate and manage the behaviour of all pupils.

The role is available both full-time and part-time 8.30/ 8.45am until 3.30pm, which means we can fit work around current studying, work and family responsibilities.

Duties of this particular role will include:

  • Promoting and assisting with the learning and development of the pupil(s) you are assigned to.
  • Encouraging pupils’ confidence and independence.
  • Managing behaviour.
  • Preparing learning resources, as directed by the Class Teacher.
  • You may also be required to track and review pupils’ progress, then reporting to the Class Teacher and/or SENCO

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
