Teaching Personnel have an exciting oppotunity for a qualified teacher who is looking for a part time role in January 2018.
The Role
The successful applicant will be working within a year 2 class, alongside an adjecant class teacher who has been at the school for two years. The will be allocated specific Planning, Preparation and Assessment time alongside the teacher who will also take over the class for the other half of the week. You will work together to provide a stable and nurturing environment for the children, ensuring the handover runs smoothly with no disruption to the children's education. The successful candidate will work alongside other staff members within the school who are able to provide shared planning and practice.
The School
The school are a two form entry school on the outskirts of Basingstoke. They have recently been rated as "good" by Ofsted, with outstanding features including their planning and preparation and teachin ability. The school prides itself on the atmosphere it creates for its staff and students, with a firm community ethos in place. Children are excited to come to school each day and ethusiastic to learn due to the "out of the box" thinking the teachers include within their lessons. The Head Teacher takes on an active role within the school and is often at the heart of community events held within the school. She very much has an "open door" policy for her teachers and welcomes them to discuss any concerns or successes within their roles.
Requirements
In order to appy for this role, you must have the following:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status,
- Be experienced within Key Stage 1,
- Have a current DBS,
- Have or be willing to complete Safeguarding training.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
