Teacher experienced with SEMH MLD

Job description

Ideally applicants would have experience with SEMH, challenging behaviours and MLD in a alternative provision/PRU setting. An additional qualification such as Team Teach is desired but not mandatory. We would also welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers or Teachers with Mainstream Secondary experience.

Our ideal candidate will have:

-6 months experience teaching students with SEMH and MLD in a mainstream or SEN setting

-Team Teach Trained and a good understanding of SEMH/EBD

-Adaptable across subjects and a good general curriculum knowledge

-Qualified Teacher status with a good understanding of differentiation and behaviour management

-Patient and nurturing mannerism

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
