SEN Support Assistant required for SEN School in Burnley
Able to fully meet the needs of learners with GLD including PMLD, SLD & ASC
Must be comfortable providing Personal Care
CPD Training available including Moving & Handling, Team Teach and ASC Awareness
Teaching Personnel are seeking a Teaching Assistant with experience of supporting students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties at a specialist school in Burnley. We are looking for individuals who have the relevant experience of working with students with complex learning difficulties. You will have the drive and commitment to support young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties who require very specialist care and access a highly differentiated curriculum. Qualifications are not necessary although training in Moving and Handling would be beneficial, as this role will require Personal Care.
The school provides a differentiated curriculum for pupils aged 4-11 with complex Special Educational Needs, including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities and associated medical needs.
You may also be requested to assist with hydrotherapy however, this is not essential.
