Teaching Personnel are exclusively partnered with a Specialist SEMH provision based in Swanwick catering for Secondary aged boys with a complex variety of behavioural and SEMH needs. Pupils are referred to the provision by local authorities as a result of diagnosed difficulties relating primarily to their behaviour.

The school provides alternate education for boys, who demonstrate a variety of complex needs including:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) (a sub-type of ADHD)
  • Asperger's Syndrome (High level functioning)
  • Autism (ASD) (where SEMH is the primary need)
  • Conduct Disorder (CD)
  • Dyslexia
  • Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
  • Speech and Language Difficulties.

Age range:

  • 9 to 18 years. (National Curriculum Years 4 to 13)

Type of Placements:

  • Immediate start
  • Day and Residential
  • Monday to Friday
  • Between 08.00 and 16.00

To work at this school applicants must be able to drive, as it is sometimes asked to travel with the pupils in the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
