Support Worker required in Preston

Job description

Are you a Support Worker with experience working with pupils who display challenging behaviours?

Are you able to reach the Preston area for work?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based alternative education unit which provides support and education for KS3/4 pupils who have Anxiety, Mental Health Difficulties and challenging behaviours. The candidate must be willing to work with pupils who can display aggressive behaviours.

The School currently has approximately 50 pupils on roll, mainly male. The School is based on the outskirts of Preston with links to public transport and ample on site parking.

The role will start after the Christmas holidays and continue for the rest of the academic year. The role will be ful time and the candidate will be expected to work on a supply basis initially and complete at least one voluntary day in School so the Head Teacher can ascertain your suitability for the role.

The candidate must have experience supporting pupils with SEMH difficulties and challenging behaviours. The successful candidate will benefit from:

* negotiable pay rates £51-61 per day
