Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a full time Learning Support Assistant to work in a rewarding role with SEND students, commencing ASAP on a long term basis in Spennymoor. The role involves working in classrooms for Key Stages 3 and 4 with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, you will be confident dealing with challenging behaviour.

This Secondary SEND school caters for students with various SEND including:

  • Speech and Language Impairments
  • Physical Impairments
  • Autism
  • Sensory Impairments

You must be a strong role model, motivated and dedicated to providing outstanding teaching and you will become part of the multi-disciplinary team that the school consists of. The ideal candidate will have a moving and handling qualification although this is not mandatory, experience working with SEND is desirable.

This role will commence as soon as possible and will be held until the end of the academic year at least, the successful candidate will receive up to £65 per day and will have access to Teaching Personnel's unique CPD opportunities to further their CV!
