SUPPORT WORKER (Liverpool)

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit Support Workers for a school based in Liverpool, which caters for students with severe learning difficulties and complex medical needs.
The South Liverpool based school provides an empowering support network for all students, giving them the opportunity to explore sensory and holistic activities which in turn help them to become more confident and independent individuals.

In your new role as Support Worker, you will assist your assigned student on a 1:1 basis throughout their day at school, attending to all needs be that communication aid, emotional support, behaviour management or personal care. 


The school are looking for someone with a background in caring or supporting vulnerable children or adults, and are trained in managing medical needs such as Epilepsy, Dysphagia, PEG Feeding or have occupational/physiotherapy experience and qualifications.

This amazing school boasts that their fantastic classrooms and spaces are designed to be inclusive for all and provide facilities to ensure the students needs are met.

This Support Worker opportunity is available on a fixed term contract however has plenty of opportunity for extension depending on the schools needs at the time of contract evaluation.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
