Are you looking for an exciting role as a Support Assistant in North Hampshire? Do you have relevant experience within this area?
We are working with a Special Needs school who cater for Primary and Secondary aged pupils with physical and learning needs. The school require the successful candidate to work in the classrooms, where class sizes consist of roughly 4 - 6 pupils. You will be supporting the class teacher with implementing lesson plans and assisting with various activities.
Requirements:
- Assist in implementing all aspects of each learners individual care plans.
- Use your initiative and get involved with the pupils.
- Must have a relevant qualification or previous experience working in healthcare, or with Special Needs individuals.
- Be prepared to undergo additional training if required.
- The pupils are encouraged to work independently, so patience is essential.
- Be resilient and have the ability to build relationships with the pupils and staff alike.
