Job description

A local Barton school is looking for a full time Autism Specialist Learning Support Assistant to join their team. You must have experience working in an education or care work setting and have experience supporting the needs of SEN children and/or adults. You must have suitable qualifications and/or Degree. You must be patient and kind with a good understanding of Autism. The hours are from 9:00am to 4pm and the role is temporary but may lead to a permanent position.

The school have high quality relationships and good behaviour at the centre of everything they do. Children and adults in the school have relationships built on trust and respect. Children are taught to get along very well together. This is why the school has the 'great community' atmosphere that visitors speak so highly of.

Role Requirements:

  • Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant experience
  • Care Work/Support Work experience
  • Experience supporting Autistic children
  • Min A-C GCSE and/or Degree
  • Good communication skills
  • Patient and Kind attitude
  • Available immediately and full time!
