Job description

Teaching Personnel work with a Blackburn based School which caters for KS3/4 pupils who have a range of special educational needs including; Challenging Behaviours, SEMH Difficulties, Autism, Learning Difficulties and ADHD. The School is based on the outskirts of Blackburn, it has ample on site parking and close links to public transport. The School are hoping to appoint a hard working, enthusiastic and empathetic Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who display challenging behaviours.

The role will be full time and candidates will be expected to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who display challenging behaviours and have special educational needs. The role will be suited to a hard working, enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant with full time ability. The role is likely to continue until the end of the academic year but it could become permanent for the right candidate.

- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 70 per day
