Due to high demand and our increasing popularity within SEN schools in the Lancashire area, we are looking to recruit enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in our client schools.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a Lancashire-based Special Educational Needs school who are seeking to appoint teaching assistant's with an in-depth knowledge of and experience in working with pupils with Special Educational Needs. The school caters for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and this role requires a teaching assistant to work with pupils with sensory impairments, physical disabilities, and Autism.
We are ideally looking for an individual with:
- Knowledge of Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities and Autism
- Experience in PEC's, Makaton and British Sign Language (not essential)
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in Youth work / Care
- A calm, empathetic and patient manner / approach

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
