Support Assistant required in Rawtenstall, East Lancashire

Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a School based in the Rawtenstall area who are seeking hard working, empathetic and energetic Teaching Assistants to work alongside pupils who display challenging behaviours and SEMH Difficulties. The School is based on the outskirts of Rawtenstall and caters for pupils ages between 11 - 17 years of age and many of the pupils will display challenging behaviours and therefore, candidates MUST have strong behaviour management skills.

The role is full time, from January and candidates must be able to work from 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday and candidates will be expected to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who display challenging behaviours. The role would be suited to a candidate with Strong behaviour management skills and a background in working with pupils with additional needs. Candidates from a Military or policing background are also favoured and ideally, candidates will be Team Teach trained but this is not essential.

- negotiable pay rates £9 - 10 per hour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
