Teaching Personnel are the leading education recruitment agency in the UK and we work exclusively with a Leyland based behavioural unit which caters for KS3/4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, Anxiety and Challenging Behaviours.

The School is based on the outskirts of Preston and the pupils in this School may display very challenging behaviours. The role will start as soon as possible and you will be expected to work one voluntary day in School so the staff can ascertain your suitability for the role.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils who have SEMH Difficulties and/or display challenging behaviours. The candidate must be willing to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who may display physically aggressive behaviour - the role is due to be full time so candidates must also be available on a full time basis.

The successful candidates will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54-60 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
