*Teaching Assistant required in Blackburn*

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Blackburn based SEN School which requires a Teaching Assistant to work closely with their KS3/4 classes. The School cater for pupils with SEN including; Autism, ADHD, Physical Disabilities, PMLD and some pupils may display challenging behaviours, therefore, candidates who have their Team Teach certificate will be favoured, but this is not essential.

The School is smaller than average and you may be expected to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils who may be challenging in their behaviours. The School are looking for candidates who are willing to provide personal care also for pupils who require it.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEN and be willing to work on a full time basis. The School will also expect you to provide one voluntary day in School so they can ascertain your suitability for the role.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
