As a Supply Teacher or Cover Teacher, you will be expected to work in a number of schools across the Burnley, Nelson & Colne areas. Working as a supply teacher is a very rewarding job and one where you can impact on learning every day, with different children.

You will be expected to deliver the work set by the permanent member of staff for each lesson (or prepare your own work if there isn't anything set).

You will need to use a range of behaviour management techniques and be able to use your initiative in order to deal with varying needs and ability levels

To conclude the working day, you will be expected to dismiss the children and leave feedback for the class teacher; specifying progress made and behaviour.

Please contact Howard in the office on 01772 842154 or email me with an up to date CV. You will be expected to produce evidence of recent classroom experience including recent reference details.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
