Supply Teachers needed in Milton Keynes

A primary school in Milton Keynes are seeking an outgoing and committed primary teacher to join their team to cover supply throughout the school.

This role is a long-term supply teacher position, with the potential to become permeant within a school in Milton Keynes that has recently expressed fantastic results in all regards academically. You will be given the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and ambitious key stage 2 team, working primarily with a lovely year 5 class and on occasion the year 6 as well. This role is five days a week and is a full time position.

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Candidates should display creativity and an ability to inspire pupils through the planning, preparation and delivery of highly stimulating, motivating and well sequenced lessons
  • As a qualified Primary Teacher you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with proven ability to understand and utilise current theory and practice in relation to learning and development
  • To comply with, support and promote all school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to child protection, equal opportunities, racial equality, health, safety and security, confidentiality, behaviour and data protection
  • Experience of teaching classes with 30 pupils would be a definite advantage

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
