Job description

Supply teachers needed for South Manchester Secondary schools due to an increase in staff sickness, course cover and internal school trips. The role of a supply teacher is flexible and offers work in a variety of secondary schools providing wide ranging opportunities.

As a supply teacher you will be expected to take on the absent teachers timetable for the day delivering set work ensuring students remain on task and complete the lesson plans using the schools behaviour management policy. Teaching Personnel work with a variety of secondary schools throughout Greater Manchester Academies, mixed comprehensives, single sex schools, grammar schools and independent schools.

If you are looking to continue Teaching but with a reduced workload this is the perfect job role for you. To be eligible for the role of a supply teacher you will need to have qualified teacher status in the UK, suitable teaching references, previous experience working in a UK secondary school and be eligible to apply for a fully enhanced DBS certificate.
