Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Teaching Personnel have a range of short and long term placements available across the Blackburn with Darwen area and we are now getting tighter with the availability of quality teachers.

Please see below the required specification in order to join Teaching Personnel and be considered for any upcoming short and long term positions;

QTS and fully inducted Teacher.

Experience of raising standards in KS2 and a portfolio to evidence this would be beneficial.

Experience of working alongside children with a variety of needs and behaviours is also preferable.

Over the last half term, Teaching Personnel have encountered a high volume of Schools in the Blackburn with Darwen area, contacting the agency in order to source quality KS2 qualified teachers with the view to starting as soon as possible through Teaching Personnel.

Experience of working with children with low attainment levels and showing progression in class is essential in many school roles; it is also essential that you can display a number of behaviour management techniques to ensure all the children are able to learn to their potential. Schools are now actively seeking cover for courses, maternity and PPA, so we are very keen to keep recruiting teachers and to keep placing them across schools in the Blackburn with Darwen.

With this in mind, Teaching Personnel are continuing to recruit over the next half term in order to service the needs of the Schools in the Blackburn with Darwen area and in doing so, securing long term roles for a number of teachers. A number of our current candidates have already taken to social media platforms to encourage more people to join Teaching Personnel. You can see a number of reviews on the GOOGLE page for Teaching Personnel Preston which vary from day to day teachers and TAs as well as long term and permanent workers. When you are working through the application process with Teaching Personnel you will be assigned a specialist recruitment consultant to ensure you are looked after through the process and you can discuss your experiences knowing that they are listening to your individual needs. In the Primary team we currently have Chloe working with PR postcode schools; Howard with Burnley, Nelson and Colne; Rachel with Hyndburn and Padiham as well as Steve with the Blackburn with Darwen area.

If you are interested in securing a part or full time role then please do not hesitate to contact me in the office on 01772 842154 or send an up to date CV
