Teaching Personnel is recruiting Teachers for supply teaching jobs across Scarborough and surrouding areas. Due to an increase in demand work is available whether you are available part-time or full-time.

The role:

  • Supervise pupils and deliver the work in the absence of the classroom teacher
  • Manage the behaviour in the classroom and follow the school’s behaviour policy
  • Ensure students are on task
  • Communicate with other members of staff in school

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • GCSE’s qualifications, including English and Maths
  • University Degree
  • Relevant Teaching Qualification
  • A confident and positive approach to working with children
  • Passion for education
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Positive attitude to learn and develop professionally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
