Secondary School Teachers required for day to day cover

Are you a trained secondary teacher looking for day to day/short term work in St Neots, Cambridge, Huntingdon, Bedford or surrounding areas?

Teaching Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a successful Multi-Academy Trust with school sites based in St Neots, easily accessible from Cambridge, Huntingdon, Bedford and surrounding areas, for qualified secondary teachers to cover ad-hoc supply and daily sickness absence. For the right teachers the opportunity for guaranteed work schemes following great feedback at the schools will be available!

With a recent agreement being signed with the school group, Teaching Personnel will be able to provide you with regular, flexible work to match your requirements and desired work schedule from anywhere between 1 - 5 days per week, with a mixture of subject specialist and general cover. As a supply teacher you will be passionate, engaging, flexible and able to adapt to different subjects and classes at short notice.

The Ideal Supply Teacher Applicant Will:

  • Have UK QTS or the overseas equivalent and confident with working at either KS3 and/or KS4 level (A-Level experience not essential but always beneficial).
  • Be able to work from 1-5 days per week (flexible)
  • Have a clear knowledge and understanding of expectations within a secondary school
  • Are committed, professional and are good communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have a willingness to take on a challenge teaching new students and enhancing their learning experience
  • Be approachable, engaging and encouraging to strengthen relationships with staff and students
  • Ensuring all safety regulations are adhered to
