Teaching Personnel have been approached by a SEN School based in the Seaford area who are currently seeking a Behaviour Buddy to support their Secondary aged pupils, this role involves working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. The aim of this role is to improve the pupil’s behaviour and to support their needs throughout the day as the pupils have Autism and behavioural needs. This role will be full-time.
The School:
This School is based in Seaford and is a Special Educational Needs School. Staff within the school are welcoming and the SLT are supportive in furthering staff experience. The behaviour within the school is good and standards set by the Head Teacher are high, however, there are a number of pupils with challenging behaviour, of which the Head believes that with the correct 1:1 support can be managed.
The Role:
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate previous experience of working 1:1 with a child requiring additional support. Your main role will be to support and improve the learning and development of the pupil that you are working with, this is an extremely rewarding role, where no two days are the same.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
