We are currently looking for flexible workers to work in secondary schools across Hampshire, and specifically in the Fleet area allowing you to cover Andover, Basingstoke, Aldershot, Hook and Farnborough. The schools in Fleet and the surrounding areas are currently crying out for more high quality staff to undertake day to day ad hoc work and short term contracts in specific subjects and general cover roles.
Excellent candidates often include retired Teachers, Police Officers, Midwifes and Ex Forces due to their flexibility tenacity and behaviour management and confidence. We also specifically recruit for graduates who are interested in learning more about Teacher Training and the role and responsibilities of a teacher, this I a brilliant way for you to gain valuable experience in a classroom setting, without undertaking further education at the point.
Depending on qualification and previous experience we would offer between GBP60 and GBP90 per day for those without teaching qualifications, and GBP110 to GBP170 per day to those with teaching qualifications. The working hours are the normal school hours of 6 hours per day, unless specifically specified.
The following traits would be helpful but not necessary in order to be successful:
- You to have Qualified Teaching Status / A degree
- The ability to travel at minimum 10 miles in the surrounding areas of your home to travel to work
- Previous experience in schools or working with children
- A polite and professional demeanour and an energetic attitude to engage the children who will be in your care
- Firm but fair attitude, allowing for good behaviour management in class
