Primary Teacher

Cover across year groups
Primary Teacher required to work on a full time basis at a Doncaster school as a cover teacher. As a cover teacher, you will cover absence across school - including some PPA or ECT release time pre-planned into your timetable. As a cover teacher, the majority of the lessons you teach will be planned by the usual class teacher, you will be responsible for keeping the children on task with their work, marking the work and leaving a clear handover for the usual class teacher. You may be in different classes throughout the day, or covering a particular class while their class teacher is absent.
We are looking to appoint an individual who has experience across all Key Stages, and someone who is able to follow planning left by others. You must be proactive and be happy to potentially work across all Key Stages in one day.
