Supply Teacher

Job description

A secondary school in Southampton are currently looking for a general supply teacher to work within the school. The school, graded good by OFSTED have fantastic facilities and provide a friendly welcoming atmosphere in which to work.

The school are now looking to recruit a general supply teacher to join its wonderful teaching staff. The successful applicant for this role does not need to have a recognised teaching qualifications or experience; however experience working with schools is desirable for the role. Working hours will be normally be between 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday, which is an average working time of 21 hours teaching per week.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for applicants looking to pursue career into teaching to gain experience and knowledge of teaching and building a relationship with the students of the school.   • Induction in schools for aspiring teachers
  • Pay £65-85 depending on experience and qualifications
  • Experience within schools and children is not essential but desirable

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
