Supply Teacher

This vacancy has now expired.

Job description

Supply teachers required at a Wythenshawe based secondary school ASAP!

Our client school in south Manchester are currently looking to recruit a number of supply teachers on a flexible day to day basis to support the school during teacher absences. This is an excellent opportunity for those with previous teaching experience and looking to work around their own availability.

Due to a shortage in the school's support department, supply teachers are needed to cover full lessons in the event of short term teacher absences, including sickness and training days. You will have the opportunity to take full classes, delivering pre-set work and ensuring pupils remain on task. The lessons you will be covering will vary but will mostly be for the core subjects of Maths, English, Science and Humanities so good knowledge of the current curriculum would be desirable.

  • Regular and flexible supply work to suit your availability
  • Wythenshawe based secondary school - easily accessible
  • Earn up to £650 per week
  • No planning or marking responsibilities

Teachers (experienced or NQT) who are interested in gaining regular supply work in Wythenshawe will join a thriving school with respectable students, supporting their overall mission to be outstanding. The school is a fairly new establishment, located just outside of Ashton-under-Lyne, close to the M67 motorway. For non driver, the school is accessible via public transport, in and around Manchester, neighbouring areas in central Manchester, Stockport and Oldham.
