A number of schools throughout the area, are currently in need of a flexible cover supervisor, who has the ability to deliver a range of different lessons, with no planning on marking required. The role in hand allows for the successful applicant to dictate their own working days, based on their availability throughout the week, whether it be two to three days, or the full week.

Working as a cover supervisor, you will be supporting the schools when a current member of staff is not able to come in, whether it be a short term sickness or on a long term basis. as stated, there will be no planning or marking required and it would be quiet to work within regular school hours, delivering lessons to key stage three and key stage 4 pupils, throughout the secondary schools.

Key points to the role:

  • Deliver pre planned lessons with no marking required.
  • Aid the children in years 7-11 through a range of required subjects.
  • Maintain and control an effective behaviour management style throughout lessons.
  • Support groups of children who may require additional help through their schoolwork.
  • Start date – ASAP!
  • Weekly wage of £350 - £450 dependent on experience.
  • Flexible working days to suit your lifestyle.

Teaching Personnel are keen to register someone in that can bring a positive atmosphere and continue to develop the children’s learning throughout their school work. It’s not essential that the applicant has specific qualifications that relate to the job, yet any experience or transferable skills that can applied in the school setting would prove to be very beneficial.

This flexible opportunity comes with a working day that’s 6.5 hours long, from 8:50 – 3:15 and you’re able to choose the days that you want to work, through our online service. Teaching Personnels online system allows for you to book and block out days that you wish or don’t wish to work, so that we can find you days accordingly. 

Before starting work through Teaching Personnel, its of paramount importance that we are able to register you with a full child workforce DBS certificate, which can be obtained through our company site, if you do not currently own on.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
