Join Our Team: Behaviour Mentor for Secondary School
Are you an experienced and dedicated Behaviour Mentor ready to make a positive impact on students' lives? An OFSTED-rated 'Good' secondary school in Levenshulme is currently seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role.
Position: Behaviour Mentor Location: Levenshulme Contract: ASAP until the end of the academic year, with potential for permanent placement Salary: £1,500 - £1,700 per month (experience-dependent)
About the Role: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in providing targeted support to individuals and groups of students, helping them overcome behavioural challenges. This is an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact and potentially secure a permanent position within the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor effective behaviour management strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students, fostering positive behavioural change.
- Track and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Contribute to the overall well-being and development of students.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Behaviour Mentor is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for fostering positive behavioural change in students.
- Adaptability and resilience in handling challenging situations.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
