Supply Teacher - Wigan

Are you a qualified teacher looking to decrease your work load? Are you someone who wishes to gain flexible work on your chosen days throughout the working week?

If so, Teaching Personnel are currently seeking applications from qualified teachers who wish to join our team of successful supply teachers currently working within the Wigan LEA.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure supply teaching work acorss a number of our key client secondary schools within the Wigan LEA on a temporary, flexible basis.

Secondary Supply Teacher;

  • Flexible teaching opportunities within a local secondary school in the Wigan LEA
  • Earn up to £550 per week (experience dependant and position undertaken)
  • Payment in line with MPS/UPS standards for long term positions
  • Must hold or be willing to apply for a DBS that is registered to the update service
  • Immediate guaranteed work available

As a Supply Teacher working for Teaching Personnel you can expect to gain regular, flexible work within secondary schools in your locality that can tailored around your availability. This role is suitable for both NQTs and experienced teachers, but it is essential that you have recent experience of teaching 11-18 year old's in a secondary or further educational setting.

In addition to the flexible supply teaching positions that you will complete through us, opportunities for long or fixed term teaching positions will arise throughout the academic year.

To be considered for the position of Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have recent experience of teaching 11-18 year old's.
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to cover set lessons where the work is pre-planned.
