Maths Graduate

Teaching Personnel currently have multiple opportunities open for recent Maths Graduates.

One of our client schools in Manchester is looking for multiple Maths Graduates who are looking to start a career in education to join their school to support their pupils who are struggling the most in their preparation for their GCSE exams.

As a Maths Intervention Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• You will work with small groups of pupils or on an individual basis to support the pupils who are struggling the most preparing for their exams.
• You should be able to encourage the pupils to gain an understanding of the topic as well as motivate them to reach their academic potential.
• You should use the knowledge that you have gained throughout your own studies to assist the pupils with any questions that they may have about the work.

• A weekly salary between £385 and £450 per week.

The school that you will be working with is In Manchester. The school has recently undertaken large changes to improve the education that they are giving to their students. The school now has a productive working environment and is performing well academically. There are a large proportion of pupils with special educational needs so at times you will also be required to support these pupils.

In order to be successful for this position, you will have to apply to a fully enhanced DBS check, you will also be required to put this onto the update service. You should also provide references that cover the entirety of the last two years of your work history. You will also be required to complete a safeguarding course.
