Job description

Teaching Personnel work with a variety of Special Educational Needs school where we support them with staff for both supply and permanent positions. We work with schools that cater for primary and secondary pupils with a variety of needs including:

  • Autism
  • Learning Difficulties
  • Challenging Behaviour
  • Physical Disabilities
  • Emotional and Social Needs
  • PMLD

Due to the nature of the schools they do require continuity as much as possible therefore the ideal member of staff would be flexible and comfortable working in 2-3 schools regularly.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with SEN in some capacity for example working in a school, in care, family with SEN or anything similar. You will be proactive, have a keen interest in SEN and be flexible. We have enough work to cater for candidates looking for full or part time. Quite often supply Teaching Assistant work can fit well alongside studying, parents with childcare, part time work and people that are retired.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
