Job description

A full time position available for an SEN Teaching Assistant commencing as soon as possible. If you have significant experience working with children or adults who have very complex learning difficulties this could be the ideal role for you.

This particular Setting is a Special School which is situated in Tameside. This particular Special School is a small Setting and has 75 pupils. The Head Teacher is currently seeking Teaching Assistants who are able to work across with the School working with pupils with very profound difficulties.

In its most recent OFSTED inspection the School was graded as 'outstanding' with OFSTED commenting that the pupils social and emotional development were particularly oustanding.

To be considered for this role you should have:

- Experience operating a hoist or hoist training is desirable

- Trained in Gastronomy feeding (desirable)

- Moving and handling trained (desirable)

- Trained in tracheostomy feeding

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
