Strong KS2 teacher needed in Swansea

Job description

A large primary school in Fforestfach, Swansea is recruiting for a strong KS2 teacher with experience of managing classes with disruptive pupils and challenging behaviour. The role is initially on a part-time basis to cover sickness, courses and PPA but could become full time for the right candidate.

The school prides itself on the quality of its marking of books as they are shown around the County, so the successful candidate will need to be confident when marking books, and this will be inquired about at the interview.

The right candidate will:

  • Have a Child workforce DBS on the update service. We can help you with this should you need to apply for a new one
  • Be registered with the EWC
  • Be able to provide two teaching references
  • Have strong KS2 teaching experience

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
