Sports Teaching Assistant
Summary:- Sports Teaching Assistant
- Facilitate PE/Sport Games
- Deliver after school sports clubs
- Attend school sporting events e.g. sport matches, gala’s, tournaments etc.
- Classroom Assistance – aid children who need additional help with English and maths
- Provide social and emotional support when needed
- GBP57-GBP60 per day – above National Living Wage
- Full Time Position – February 2020 start
- Risca Area
The Role:- Sports Teaching Assistant
In this role you will be expected to get involved with everything sport related in the school. You will facilitate Physical Education sessions/ sport games for pupils that have been awarded extra time for PE/Sport. This school want someone who can deliver sports clubs so that their teams can attend sport matches, competitions, tournaments and galas. Furthermore, some classroom assistance will be needed to support children who need additional support in Maths and English. You will also be expected to provide social and emotional support when needed.

In the schools latest inspection ESTYN commented that there is purposeful, dynamic and caring leadership by the head teacher and there is a caring ethos and a strong secure relationships between the staff, pupils and parents.
