Sports Graduates for Teaching Assistant roles SEMH

Teaching personnel are looking to recruit sport graduates looking to work within education as specialist teaching assistants at a client school based in Plymouth.

Candidates will be asked to work with either small groups or on a one to one basis, focusing mainly on keeping the pupils engaged and on task to meet their learning aims and objectives. The students that attend the client school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour, focusing on keeping them engaged with the lesson. You will be expected to work between 8:30-3:30 and supporting daily trips to the shop or park may be required. We offer a competitive rate of pay ranging from £54.00-£65.00 based on experience. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
