Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant Needed

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a sports graduate teaching assistant to work with a client school based in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity to work as a 1:1 behaviour assistant if you're a sports graduate or a qualified sports coach and enjoy working with children with challenging behaviour. Most of our positions are full-time and longer-term and involve building strong relationships with a single pupil with special educational needs.

The Role

  • Full time Behaviour Assistant - 1:1 or working in small groups
  • Keep pupil on task and engaged throughout the day
  • Co-ordinate extra curricular PE clubs

Responsibilities:

  • To complete behavioural management, safe practice and Good practice induction/training.
  • Commit yourself to the ongoing professional development of your skills and knowledge.
  • To be person centred in all aspects of your role.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
