SPORTS GRADUATE, CHURCH OF ENGLAND PRIMARY SCHOOL, Manchester, (M14)

Are you a graduate in Sports Science and are hoping to do you PGCE in the future? Are you wanting to gain experience working in mainstream primary schools?

We are looking for a sports graduate for a coaching position in a Primary School in central Manchester (M14). This specific role will involve encouraging students to interact and work co-operatively with others and engage in all sporting activities to ensure all pupils are included and eager to participate. The role will run alongside a general Year 3 Teaching Assistant position, although the successful applicant will work alongside all year groups assisting with Physical Education where necessary. 

This is a larger than average, 2 form entry primary school which focuses on making learning engaging and interactive. The successful applicant will work alongside KS1 and KS2 practitioners to aid progression across all subject areas and to encourage and support with PE throughout the school.

The ideal candidate will have,

-          Previous experience within a classroom or coaching environment

-          Previous experience within an SEN or EBD school is desirable

-          Experience in 1:1 support and classroom management is essential

This position will start as soon as schools re-open. It will be a full time role and will run until the end of the academic year. The position has the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
