Are you a recent Sports graduate? Are you looking for experience in a Teaching Assistant role?

Teaching Personnel work several Secondary Schools across Salford, aiding them in recruiting candidates all year round. Secondary Schools are always eager to recruit Sports graduates to join their Physical Education department due to the nature of the modules involved.

  • Part-time roles available from September 2019.
  • Opportunity to work in a variety of Secondary schools across Greater Manchester.
  • Build experience across differing schools and interact with pupils at various levels of learning attainment.
  • Support teachers inside and outside the classroom with pupils who require additional support.
  • Provide support throughout the Physical Education department and have the opportunity to experience other departments alongside this.
  • Help plan interventions for children who display challenging behaviour.
  • Promote positive behaviour management.
  • Earn up to £300 per week, depending on experience.

Application Requirements

  • You must have a Sports degree or be in your final year of completing your Sports degree.
  • Any experience with children and young people is desirable as these skills are highly transferrable.
  • You must be confident in working with young people who display challenging behaviour and promote positive behaviour management to support these pupils.

Our client schools are located across Salford and all accessible via the M60 and M61 from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Bury and Wigan for candidates who have their own transport. All our partner schools are also easily accessible via several public transport links from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
