Sports Coaches - Darlington

An unprecedented number of schools are currently seeking sports coaches to work as Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants, and Behaviour Mentors.


  • Sports coaches have experience working with instructing and working with large groups of children. This translates into have FANTASTIC behaviour management in the classroom
  • Schools are seeking good role models. Sports coaches tend to be healthy individuals who show commitment to something they are passionate about.

Are you a sports coach or graduate looking to gain experience of working with children and young adults? Are you an aspiring secondary teacher of the future? Are you looking for experience in schools and working with young people to support your application to a teacher training programme?


  • Cover work suitable for graduates, aspiring teachers and sports coaches
  • Earn up to £75 per day (role and experience dependant)
  • Paid weekly

Teaching Personnel are the leading recruitment agency for Education, covering England and Wales. We are working with a number of Secondary schools in Teesside to secure Cover Supervisors to join their support team ahead of the new academic year in September, or earlier if possible. The schools require full and part time Cover Supervisors to work on a temporary basis, covering lessons (where the work is already set) in the absence of the class teacher across all curriculum subjects. The position is ongoing and there is an opportunity to secure a fixed term position for the right candidate.
